Pontiac Archives, Shawville, Qc, Open House July 2014

The Pontiac Archives will host “Open House” in July on Tuesday, July 8, Wednesday, July 9, and Thursday, July 10th.

Hours: 9 am – 4 pm. Open over lunch hour.

Weather permitting, there will be displays outside on the Main Street.

Indoors, there is unlimited amount of material to research genealogy, logging, fairs, schools, churches, Women’s Institutes, Lions and Lionettes Club, and other service clubs, hospitals, to name a few.

Walter Brown will be a guest to help with family history and genealogy questions.  The Pontiac Archives has the complete collection by Mr Brown and it is downloaded on 3 computers for use by the public.

Please drop in to visit.

 

Pontiac Archives is open on a regular basis Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 am – 4 pm with volunteers available to assist the public.
